Welcome to UB Media Forensic Lab (UB MDFL) Lab

The Media Forensic Laboratory is a multi-departmental research group at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, University at Buffalo, State University of New York, affiliated with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and the Artificial Intelligence Institute. We are interested in the mathematical foundations and algorithmic development of machine learning algorithms with a targeted application to the analysis of visual imagery (images and videos). Funding for the lab has been provided by the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Defense Advance Program Research Agency (DARPA), the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), and the Army Research Office.
